44 Per Cent of Mobile Auto Searches End in Purchase
Mobile Marketing Magazine just published some survey results and a great infographic that are (Bond Villian Voice) veeeeery iiiiiiinteresting. The information seems to be sourced in the U.K., but the stats speak to global trends. Some key points:
- 72% of car shoppers used some form of mobile information to shop.
- 30% of car shoppers used mobile exclusively when looking for a car.
- Mobile websites had greater reach than apps.
- Between 41% (tablet) and 47% (smarthpone) of searches led to a purchase.
Mobile, it seems, is a powerful way to reach customers when they’re trying to find something they enjoy. We’ve offered some great mobile search functionality in our specialized Realtor SavvyCards – a tool that would seem to fit well with how customers use mobile.
(Note: Our apologies to excited realtors everywhere, but Realtor SavvyCards are currently only available to members of the Miami Association of Realtors . . . but we do have an upcoming announcement you might want to keep an eye out for).
